Two engagements, eight years apart
We built the fundraising foundation in 2014 and came back in 2022 to add the major gifts program it had grown into needing.

In 2014: an $80K, fully volunteer-led Brooklyn nonprofit with no fundraising infrastructure at all. By 2022: a $400K organization with full-time leadership but no major gifts program.
First, an 18-month engagement to build the foundation: a multi-tiered fundraising strategy, a donor management system, and strategic counsel for volunteer leadership. In 2022, we returned to map the board's networks, build donor cultivation pathways, and run solicitation training with real-world simulations.
41 major-donor prospects engaged and 12 converted; the year-end campaign and signature event "Connect at the Net" raised nearly $97K together; a durable major gifts program now in place.
