MEET THE HUDSON FERRIS FUNDRAISING TEAM

The Hudson Ferris team has more than 30 years of experience in development. All senior staff have held executive development positions, including many at New York City’s premier institutions.

ED LEIBMAN, Founding Partner

For more than 20 years, Edward Leibman has raised millions of dollars for non-profit organizations including the Public Theater, New York Botanical Garden, National Institute For Reproductive Health, Bellevue Hospital Center, Playwrights Horizons, Theater Communications Group, and The Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation.

Throughout his career, Ed has excelled in unlocking hidden potential in the donor bases of the organizations he has served. A creative thinker, his entrepreneurial approach to fundraising often breaks the mold of convention. Ed specializes in major gifts, board development, corporate sponsorship, and campaign strategy.

JENNIFER LEIBMAN, Founding Partner

Jennifer Leibman oversees all compliance, accounting, client relations and business development. Prior to founding Hudson Ferris, Jennifer served in two consecutive mayoral administration, where she specialized in intergovernmental community relations, press, legislative affairs, and public-private partnerships. Jennifer subsequently pursued a commercial real estate career and worked as a Senior Associate with Vicus Partners. Jennifer is a graduate of New York University – Tisch School of the Arts.

 

HANNAH LOWERY ODELL, Managing Director

Hannah Odell has been a formative member of the Hudson Ferris team for more than 4 years. Now serving as Managing Director, she works closely with the Founding Partners on strategy and business development and manages day-to-day operations for our clients.

For more than 7 years, Hannah has been making an impact for nonprofits, both locally and abroad, by applying her strategic development approach to produce lasting results for growing organizations. She has served in leadership development roles for multiple organizations, including HOW Global, El Salvador’s Foundation Cristosal and Brooklyn-based Children of the City.

 

JAMIE-ANN MORRIS, Client Services Coordinator

Jamie-Ann Morris is the Client Services Coordinator at Hudson Ferris. Jamie has degrees in Psychology and Business from City University. She previously worked at The Ofshtein Law Firm and Misys Banking. Jamie now serves as the touchstone for all communication, scheduling and client relations for Hudson Ferris. 

 

ELSUIDA BRUNGA, Account Associate

Elsuida Brunga is a MA Candidate of International Affairs at the New School and holds a BA in International Relations from Iona College. She gained invaluable experience working in the field in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on a monitoring and Evaluation project for a national non-profit organization that targets the most vulnerable women in Ethiopia. She also interned at the Consulate General of Kosovo as well as for Edmund Rice International. She brings her international background, passion for non-profit development, and excellent research skills to the Hudson Ferris team. 

 
ELLIE MANKO LIBBY, Special Advisor

Ellie has a twenty-year long career in the philanthropic world as a senior development professional and entrepreneur raising substantial funds and building strategic partnerships for traditional nonprofits as well as social entrepreneurship ventures. Her fundraising expertise ranges from institutional, corporate, foundation, and individual giving, with an emphasis on major gifts, board development and special events. In addition, she is experienced in managing and building departments and mentoring staff and volunteers.  Her specialties include major gift solicitation and planning, donor cultivation, board building, corporate and foundation grants, drafting proposals, written and visual presentations.
